Installation and configuration

Add the tap-newrelic extractor to your project using

meltano add
```

Configure the tap-newrelic settings using

meltano config

meltano config tap-newrelic set --interactive

Test that extractor settings are valid using

meltano config

meltano config tap-newrelic test

Api Key (api_key)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_API_KEY

Your Newrelic API key.

Api Url (api_url)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_API_URL

The API url to use e.g. https://api.eu.newrelic.com/graphql.

Account Id (account_id)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_ACCOUNT_ID

Your Newrelic account ID.

Start Date (start_date)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_START_DATE

Determines how much historical data will be extracted. Please be aware that the larger the time period and amount of data, the longer the initial extraction can be expected to take.

Custom Queries (custom_queries)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_CUSTOM_QUERIES

An object containing the keys - name, query, key_properties. E.g. { "name": "my_custom_event", "query": "SELECT * FROM my_custom_event", // optional, override the primary keys for your event "key_properties": ["my_event_id"] }

Stream Maps (stream_maps)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_STREAM_MAPS

Config object for stream maps capability.

Stream Map Config (stream_map_config)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_STREAM_MAP_CONFIG

User-defined config values to be used within map expressions.

Flattening Enabled (flattening_enabled)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_FLATTENING_ENABLED

'True' to enable schema flattening and automatically expand nested properties.

Flattening Max Depth (flattening_max_depth)

Environment variable: TAP_NEWRELIC_FLATTENING_MAX_DEPTH

The max depth to flatten schemas.
