The tap-redash extractor pulls data from Redash that can then be sent to a destination using a loader.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

If you haven't already, follow the initial steps of the Getting Started guide:

  1. Install Meltano
  2. Create your Meltano project

Installation and configuration

  1. Add the tap-redash extractor to your project using 
    meltano add
     : 
    2. meltano add extractor tap-redash
  2. Configure the tap-redash settings using 
    meltano config
     : 
    3. meltano config tap-redash set --interactive
  3. Test that extractor settings are valid using 
    meltano config
     : 
    4. meltano config tap-redash test

Login Url (LOGIN_URL)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_LOGIN_URL

Your login url. E.g. https://reports.replace-with-org-name.com/login.

API Key (API_KEY)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_API_KEY

Your API key.

Password (password)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_PASSWORD

Your password.

Disable Collection (disable_collection)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_DISABLE_COLLECTION

Whether to allow annoymous usage tracking. Default, true.

Query URL (QUERY_URL)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_QUERY_URL

The query url to use. E.g. https://reports.replace-with-org-name.com/api/queries

Query Id (QUERY_ID)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_QUERY_ID

Your query ID.

Email (email)

  • Environment variable: TAP_REDASH_EMAIL

Your Redash email.
